I'm a UK Athletics level 2 coach. I started running to get back into shape when my children went to school, and though I didn't find it easy at first, I stuck with it and - rather to my own surprise - learned to love it. It gives me true joy to help other women start running too, so I've been coaching for ten years, specialising in beginners and intermediate runners. In that time I've started literally hundreds of women running, and I believe a gentle, gradually progressive approach is the best way to avoid injury and, most importantly, to enjoy running.
I aim to be a sympathetic and friendly coach, and I believe that running is one of the best things you can do for your health, physical and mental.
